In 2018, Elsevier published an article stating that Africa contributes less than 1% of global research output. Now we are making a difference and this work "Understanding key vectors and vector-borne diseases associated with freshwater ecosystem across Africa: Implications for public health" https://doi.org/10.1016/j.scitotenv.2022.160732 (Free download using personalized Share Link: https://authors.elsevier.com/a/1gFvtB8ccuwII Feel free to cite it if it falls within your research field), one out of over 100 in less than two years is part of our evidence.
As we congratulate the OAAD Life Sciences and all co-authors, we remind us that even though we keep making these high impact contributions to knowledge, our key focus is that every work is an opportunity to build trust and know one another better as we prepare for greater projects which shall benefit us all socially, economically and otherwise!
We shall set up a university, multiple companies, institutionalize engagements, intentionally drive a culture of entrepreneurship and enhance the quality of life in Africa through research, technology and innovation. OAAD...doctoring solutions for Africa and the world.
