OAAD Climate Research Group (CRG)

Our goal in the OAAD Climate Research Group is to use scientific research focusing on Climate Change Knowledge (CCK) to bring solutions to African concerns. Here is the most recent publication of the Research Group which focuses on the situation of drought across Africa https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s00024-022-02988-z.

We understand the urgency to launch into the deep to investigate various CCK aspects such as climatic extremes, ocean circulation and dynamics, air-sea interactions, and so on. This, we believe, can be accomplished through Research Alignment and Collaboration (RAC).

Hence, OAAD Climate Research Group is open to collaboration with individuals and groups with common goal(s) to provide solutions to the problems of Africa through scientific and Innovative research.

Ayugi Brian is Researcher at Seoul National University of Science and Technology, South Korea. His research focuses on climate diagnosis and prediction, climate change and modeling, extreme climate change and its future projections, with particular emphasis over Africa. He is currently serving as OAAD's Vice-President East Africa and Assistant Research Coordinator of OAAD Climate Research Group.
