What our members say
I was there at the beginning when it seemed like just a group on social media but now actualized by young African researchers, entrepreneurs, and innovators full of energy and enthusiasm. OAAD has become an international organization creating academic sensations across the world while driving for the enhancement of the quality of life of people across Africa and the globe. Undoubtedly, I am happy to be part of this creation.
I am very grateful for the intellectual resources at OAAD. I had some challenges while trying to get my manuscript published with a reputable journal. At some point It became necessary to email the editor (s) involved, but I had no idea how to appropriately word the email without offending them. I reached out to the president of OAAD and he immediately drafted a very diplomatic letter for me, which incited an immediate positive response from the journal. I remain eternally indebted to OAAD. I am also thankful for the boundless opportunities for leadership, service and innovation available in this great organisation and I know they are just getting started.
To the leaders of OAAD, I would like to acknowledge all of you, for inspiring me on that road we young have decided to reach a new level of leadership in our community. This year I have learned and discover several lessons relative to what is a leader with a commitment to dedicate to community progress.
I am very grateful to be a member of OAAD. Through this initiative, I have successfully completed my research leading to the award of a Masters’ degree. The attained degree has expanded my knowledge. Eventually, my efficiency has significantly increased.
