🎯 Theme: Bridging the Digital Gender Gap in Africa

This event was part of a broader OAAD Women’s Network series celebrating International Women’s Day 2023, gathering African women academics and professionals to discuss innovative strategies for digital inclusion, especially in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics).

Participants engaged with thought leaders and shared experiences around:

• Access to digital tools and education

• Gender equality in technology fields

• Leadership and empowerment through innovation

• Overcoming institutional and societal barriers in academia and tech

With more than 10 featured speakers from various African countries, the series created a platform for collaboration, mentorship, and forward-thinking solutions aimed at closing the gender digital divide in Africa.
